As the curtain falls on 2024, we're compelled to reflect on the incredible journey it was. At Jio Haptik, the year was a whirlwind. From exciting new partnerships to participating in and co-hosting dynamic events, and getting recognized for our innovative work - we’re filled with enormous pride, satisfaction, and motivation to carry into the new year.
Representing India at WEF’s AI Governance Alliance
A feather in our cap and testament to our exceptional body of work in AI for over a decade, we were invited to the World Economic Forum’s (WEF) AI Governance Alliance meeting in May.
Among the global forum of 300+ members and 250 organizations, Jio Haptik was the only member from India to be invited, with our Co-Founder Aakrit Vaish joining on our behalf.

We had also been part of the “2nd AI Advisory Council - AI for India 2030”, organized by WEF together with India’s Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY).

Joining forces with Tira, PVR Inox, and Sony LIV we have built power-packed solutions that transcend customer experience through personalization, and two-way conversations powered by advanced WhatsApp features such as Flows.
With Tira, our GenAI Sales Assistant boosts conversational buying guidance by tailoring product recommendations and streamlining user profiling for beauty advisory.
Our collaboration with PVR Inox makes movie experiences more accessible as fans can interact with ‘Movie Jockey’, the conversational WhatsApp assistant, to book tickets, order their favorite snacks, and get queries resolved in real-time.
We didn’t stop there.
Together with Sony LIV, we’ve simplified contestant registration for popular reality show Kaun Banega Crorepati for the upcoming season.
Expanding Jio Haptik’s Footprint
Furthermore, with the aim of supporting government organizations in the Middle East to adopt generative AI and drive the next wave of innovation, we’ve expanded into the UAE and Saudi Arabia. Our GenAI solutions integrated on WhatsApp enable businesses in the region to deliver tailored customer experiences, unlocking exponential impact.

This year, we’ve entered game-changing partnerships with du and Microsoft, among others, boosting our go-to-market efforts and ensuring data-secure access to our advanced GenAI solutions, as well as low-latency connectivity and peak performance.
The du partnership was made official at the GITEX event in Dubai. Additionally, we published our GenAI-powered Customer Experience Platform, Contakt, on the Microsoft Azure Marketplace, making it easier to deploy through Azure’s robust and secure cloud platform.
Adding New Logos to Our Roster
2024 was yet another milestone year as we crossed 15B+ AI-powered conversations, making us one of the leaders in the conversational AI domain.
We attribute it to our large customer base across retail and eCommerce, healthcare, fintech, edtech, travel, and media and entertainment, as we added prominent logos to our client roster this year (some of which are shown above).
Enriching Events
From Mumbai to Dubai and beyond, our AI experts took centerstage at events we hosted and participated in.
We featured in 35 events this year, connecting with diverse audiences ranging from marketing heads to C-suite executives.
We’re encouraged by the enthusiasm to adopt GenAI integrated on WhatsApp for high-impact use cases and power better customer experiences.
Phenomenal Year for Interakt
Building on the momentum from last year, Interakt - the full-stack WhatsApp CRM and official Meta business partner - achieved prolific numbers in 2024.
The platform amassed $150M+ worth of orders on WhatsApp, while Interakt merchants launched 650,000 marketing campaigns and created over 1.5 million WhatsApp templates.
Interakt scooped up the “SMB Focus Partner of the Year” by Meta at the WhatsApp Business Summit for being instrumental in empowering SMBs in India to grow on WhatsApp Business API and for having the largest number of SMBs on Interakt compared to other platforms.
Interakt has entered key strategic partnerships with Xendit and Aspire, enhancing the way businesses in Indonesia sell and collect revenue on WhatsApp. The partnerships will help Interakt’s partners drive faster checkouts, manage the entire sales process within WhatsApp, and unlock higher revenue, too.
