Principal, Program Management

Location: Mumbai, 1 Vacancy - Fulltime

Haptik is on the lookout for a passionate and driven Program Management leader to lead delivery and project execution for its Enterprise Business. S/he will be responsible for building and leading a team of passionate Program Managers to deliver industry first chatbot solutions that solve for pressing industry problems. An ideal candidate will be someone who is highly data-driven, user-experience focussed and has a solid track record of delivering high quality products.

We expect the Principal Program Manager to be a self starter who proactively identifies problems, proposes solutions and drives the team to address them. You should be strong technically, with a track record of successfully designing and delivering solutions for complex technical problems. You should be able to work independently in highly ambiguous environments and comfortable with new technologies

This position reports into SVP and Business Head.


  • Lead and groom a team of Program managers to ensure all projects are delivered in time with highest levels of quality
  • Manage the delivery team of Engineering Managers, Analysts, QA and Program Managers to ensure timely and quality customer deliveries
  • Structure and scale up the delivery team in line with workloads and roadmap
  • Ensure adoption and evolution of overall delivery process from Sales and Solutioning to Dev, QA, and UAT
  • Rigorously follow up with clients to unblock internal teams, right from requirement gathering, dependency identification and closure, to ensure the projects are delivered on time
  • Be a champion of communication and clearly communicate project deliverables, timelines, status and dependencies on a regular basis
  • Work with multiple stakeholders across development, platform and ML teams to ensure optimal solutions in designing and delivery of high quality bots
  • Work closely with customer success team to ensure continuous improvement of bots development by Haptik and ensure customer satisfaction
  • Plan out development roadmap for the enterprise development team and provide relevant insights to the platform owners for further improvement


  • 8-12 years of experience as a Delivery head / Project Manager, preferably on an Enterprise / SAAS product
  • Strong understanding of the consumer internet ecosystem. Previous experience of working in Chatbots / AI domain a plus
  • Bachelors/Master’s Degree in Engineering from a Tier 1 institute like IIT, BIT, NIT, etc. or US/UK
  • Experience working in startups or successful entrepreneurial adventures
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Self-driven, Multi-tasker, Comfortable with a fast-paced, always-on, highly ambiguous environment
