Manager - Channels and Alliances, BD

Location: Mumbai, 1 Vacancy - Fulltime

Haptik is on the lookout for a strong partnerships manager to lead the Enterprise sales partnerships and market expansion for the company. You should be someone who loves software and can communicate its impact with ease to customers of all kinds. This person will own all of the company’s revenue generation through existing and new partnerships. Your goals will closely be linked to the health of the overall business. This position reports into the AVP & Sales Head, overall working closely with the CEO and Business Head.

Responsibilities

  • Build and grow a business through channel partnerships in all markets Haptik operates in
  • Maximizing sales through existing channel relationships and developing programs for growing/nurturing channel and strategic partners
  • Owning and executing on a channel revenue number on a monthly basis (MRR)
  • Formulating, executing and reviewing strategic plans with strategic channel partners
  • Positioning the organization and it's channel partners for strategic opportunities
  • Leveraging internal and external resources to effectively position the organization as the solution of choice across the SI and VAR landscape
  • Designing and implementing programs in conjunction with marketing to drive knowledge of the organization & it's products in markets

Requirements

  • Significant experience of 5+ years developing business through the channels and proven leadership abilities leading a team
  • Demonstrated history of building a large software business across India using channels, alliances and partnerships
  • High effectiveness at working both SI and VAR Channels as well as distributors
  • Proven (relevant) sales experience in the software industry
  • Exceptional track record of leveraging the channel to build and close deals by working across all levels of the organization, from developer to the C-Suite
  • Proven leadership abilities and business acumen
  • Understanding of SaaS and cloud business (preferred not mandatory)
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
