Talent wins games, but teamwork and intelligence wins championships –Michael Jordan
Coming up to exactly about 6 months since the launch of Haptik, most of what we know about where the business will go is still relatively unknown. However, we do know one thing: our users love the idea. We have realized that we are on to something, and this could be revolutionary. To chase that vision and build something meaningful, we need to have a team that is as crazily obsessed about the idea as we have been for the past 6 months. To that end, we are very excited to introduce today 3 important additions to the Haptik family. We have been in conversation with them for months, and are finally excited to see them be a part of this journey.
Maruti Naik Vice President, Business Operations
Maruti joins Haptik as Vice President of Business Operations, responsible for chat operations, business process optimization, and business development. He will be managing all of the back end operations, including the Haptik experts team and the software they use. As part of his role, he will be directly responsible for the overall quality of service delivered across the board. Alongside, he will also help build the Haptik business by collaborating with enterprises.
Maruti comes to Haptik on the back of 18 years of experience across product development, back end operations, customer service, and sales in Indian and multinational companies across industries such as Insurance, Banking, FMCG and Consumer durable, both as part of large organizations as well as start ups. Prior to his last one year of sabbatical, Maruti’s latest stint was as Vice President of Sunoray Solutions, a cloud communication solutions provider for SMEs. Prior to that, he spent a year as Vice President of Corporate Operations at Birla Sun Life Insurance, and before that 5 years at ICICI Prudential as AVP of Customer Service and Operations. He started his career at Godrej GE selling washing machines, then moving to PepsiCo, and eventually finding his niche in the financial services operations domain.
Maruti is crazy about Zappos, who are themselves known for being obsessed about their customers and the support they deliver to them. Outside of work, Maruti likes to read, watch movies (was once a first day first show regular) and listen to music (genre no bar).
