What truly made 2023 a significant year was the fact that Haptik celebrated its 10th anniversary in August! From a 24x7 personal assistant to conversational AI to Generative AI - it’s been a transformative journey built on resilience, in pursuit of excellence, and with a never-ending commitment to innovation. While it’s a momentous occasion, there’s palpable Day 1 energy as we continue our work on exciting projects and initiatives.

The introduction of large language models (LLM) like GPT marked a significant turning point in the AI landscape. Thus, after a decade of building Haptik, we had to revitalize our products and solutions from the ground up. A product born of Haptik’s integration with LLMs like GPT, is Contakt! It’s a unified suite of solutions powered by Generative AI that enables enterprises to power end-to-end customer experiences at scale. Going Global - New Customers Added to Our Roster
With Haptik catering to enterprises across geographies, it’s noteworthy that, in 2023, we’ve expanded our portfolio with the addition of notable customers from the Middle East and Africa (MEA), Asia-Pacific (APAC), and the rest of the world. It’s testament to our distinct product capabilities and the meaningful business impact we deliver for our customers. We're deeply grateful for the trust our clients place in us. Scalability has been one of Haptik’s key differentiators. This year, our ability to handle scale helped power Reliance Jio’s 5G launch with our powerful WhatsApp Assistant, which helps 500M+ users in 236 Indian cities get access to Jio True 5G connection.

Rewards & Recognition
Haptik’s thrilled and humbled to have received consistent recognition and acknowledgment this year. We were named the Tech Startup of the Year in Artificial Intelligence at the 13th Annual Entrepreneur India Awards, while winning the gold medal for “Best Chat and Conversational Bot” at the Martequity Awards 2023. We were also presented the Vendor Excellence Award (Gold) at CX Asia Excellence Awards 2023 in Singapore.
Interakt won the prestigious Click-to-WhatsApp-Ads Partner of the Year Award at Meta’s flagship event -Conversations, fortifying its status as a powerful WhatsApp CRM for businesses.
Building the AI Community
As a pioneer in the field of AI, Haptik is compelled to support and give back to the larger AI community. This year, we took the initiative to introduce Generative AI and discuss its groundbreaking potential with tech audiences.
GenAI Talks
As part of the initiative, we hosted ChatGPT Talks at our Mumbai Headquarters with Shyamal Anadkat from OpenAI delivering a keynote on ChatGPT and the powerful ways for enterprises to leverage the technology.
GenAI Talks was the second edition of our community event, held in partnership with Google at its India headquarters in Bengaluru.
In addition, we held several on-demand webinars led by our Co-founder & CTO Swapan Rajdev on Generative AI and its capabilities to revolutionize the retail and fintech industries.
Global Partnerships on Artificial Intelligence (GPAI) Summit 2023
Over and above this, we feel a sense of pride in mentioning that, as part of a select list of companies, Haptik was invited to present its AI-powered solutions at the Global Partnerships on Artificial Intelligence (GPAI) Summit 2023. Hosted by India, the chair of GPAI, and inaugurated by the Honorable Prime Minister of India, Mr. Narendra Modi, Haptik had the privilege of building the Generative AI-powered GPAI Smart Info Bot as an information hub for all event details.
Power-Packed Year for Interakt
Interakt, the most powerful WhatsApp CRM platform, now enables 15,000 merchants to grow their business on WhatsApp. It’s a measure of Interakt’s rapid growth trajectory, fostered by the team’s dedication and innovative approach.
The icing on the cake for Interakt has been the partnership with Tally Solutions with the vision of allowing merchants to manage their day-to-day business, improving customer engagement, streamlining document sharing, and more.
